A proper hand car wash in Springfield
We're a small crew at 2140 Maple Ave. We wash cars by hand, dry them by hand too, and we don't rush. Most washes take about 20 minutes.
Call (217) 555-0148No machines dragging brushes across your paint. That's the short version of what we do. You drive in, tell us what you want, and we get to work with buckets, mitts and a lot of towels.
While you wait there's a bench that seats four, free coffee from the pot on the counter, and a vending machine if you're hungry. Kids usually head straight for the gumball machine.

Basic Wash

Outside hand wash, wheels cleaned, hand dried. In and out in about 15 minutes.
Deluxe Wash
$24
The Basic plus interior vacuum, windows inside and out, dash wipe-down and door jambs.
Premium Detail
$89
The full job. Shampooed seats and carpets, wax, trim dressing. Takes a couple of hours — worth it.
Hours
Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Sundays 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Last full detail starts two hours before close, so plan ahead on weekends.
You don't need an appointment for a wash. For the Premium Detail it helps to call ahead, especially on Saturdays.
